Clark's first car, the "beater car" or "grandma car" as he liked to call it, had hit the point that it wasn't safe to drive without investing big money into more repairs than it was worth. Sigh....

Living closer to the to the Gulf of Mexico gave us an opportunity to say, for the first time ever, "Let's take a day trip to the beach." And that is just what we did! We jumped in the van and headed to Stewart Beach Park in Galveston.
We made it!
The water was perfect! We spent most of our time playing in the waves with our boogie boards. It was particularly nice because you could go a ways out and still be only chest high in water. We also tried to catch the fish that were jumping around us! Didn't get any though. Ha!
Time for lunch under the umbrella.
More play time!
Mean green pride remained fierce at all times. LOL
(Even photo-shopped in some green for fun.)
He even tried to feed them by hand. No takers.

We made it through "Move Out Day 4" and "Drive to Spring Day." Arriving in Spring around 7:30pm, we had 3 packed vehicles and 3 excited dogs.
Friday the moving truck showed up and began the task of unloading a full truck!
These pictures were taken a few hours into the unpacking.
Inside the rental garage.
Looking down from the stairwell to the kitchen.
A view of the living room with our wrapped up entertainment center middle piece.
Clark's soon to be room.
Mason's soon to be room.
Dane's soon to be room.
What do I say about this??

Here is what moving day 2 looked like.
Lots of boxes packed by the movers.........
and a big pile of stuff for us to bring in our vehicles.
I think there were 6 musical instruments in that pile!
This was a scarey moment-- the piano being brought down the stairs! Gulp!
But they got it down in one piece!
Here are a couple of "inside the truck" picture.
There is not much loaded yet.
