Hawaiian Luncheon

As promised, here are the Hawaiian Luncheon pics!

The event was fun! It was beautifully table scaped! The food was scrumptious! The staff enjoyed being pampered & feed!

Click on any picture to see it larger.

(Yes, the Schlitterbahn coconut monkey
made it on the table!)

Some of the staff... some dressed up, some didn't, but everyone was given a lei to wear for the day.

The roasted pork, yellow rice, white beans, and slaw/salad were catered by a Pflugerville restaurant, Cafe Mangu'. Parents provided the desserts, macadamia nuts, tea, water, Hawaiian Punch, oranges, grapes and olives. HEB donated $40 that I used to buy the fresh papaya, pineapple, kiwi, and star fruit.

UIL Band Concert

Tonight was the Hawk Band Pre-UIL Concert. UIL is less than two weeks away so they wanted to have an opportunity to play in front of an audience.

Clark played in the Symphonic Band and the Jazz Band. They were really good!

I snapped this pic as he was making his way up to the stage.

Clark and the T-bones were way in the back during the Symphonic performance. No pics of that. But I did some Jazz Band pics!!

Message in the Bottle

Just wanted to show these "Message In the Bottle" Invites. These are going to the elementary staff on Monday morning. On Friday, we are having a Hawaiian themed luncheon in which the main dishes are being catered. Parents are taking care of desserts, drinks, and nuts.

I will post "after luncheon pictures" of the decor, food, and staff.

New Braunfels, Day 4

O.K, I' finally home! YAY! The drive took longer than I expected, though... O.K, today we had originally planed to go climb Enchanted Rock, but by the time we got there, the park was full. So we went into Fredricksberg nearby to eat a picnic lunch. While we were walking around main street, we saw some shirts in a store that we knew we had to have.
We then went to Perdinales Falls. Here are some pics of us at the falls.
O.K, As you can see, this paragraph is for some reason underlined. I dont kow why. But, now that we're home again, I won't be posting for a while. So, Bye!

New Braunfels, day 2

Hi. Clark here during day 2 of staying in New Braunfels. O.K, you know how I said that we were going to the Zoo today? well, I was wrong. Today, we went to Sam Ash music, Guitar Center, and Chester's Hamburgers. I had a chilicheeseburger, and it was so good! O.K, here's the whole explanation of why we didn't go to the zoo. We first went to the two music stores, Sam Ash music and Guitar Center, then we went to Chester's burgers for lunch. By the time we got to the zoo, it was so crowded, they had police blocking off parking lots, and the lines at the entrance were so long that it would have been at least an hour wait. so we decided to go home and come back tomarow. So I will put more info and picks about the zoo tommarow. Bye! <(^_^)> <3

New Braunfels, Day 1

Hi. It's Clark. I'm staying in New Braunfels with my Grandparents till Wednsday, so I'll be posting every night till then. tonight was grandchildren night, so Alyssa, Phillip and his new girlfriend katrina all came over for dinner.

We had a delicious dinner of chicken, steak and bacon wraped shrimp. It was really good! We then sat around till 9:45 talking about this and that, and that and this (alot of it was about band and *shutter* School). But over all, it was fun. O.K, thats all for now. Tomarow, we have plans to go to the San Antonio zoo! YAY!! >.<>

Kindergarten Rodeo

Friday was Kindergarten rodeo! It was a great day for Dane. The fun began first thing in the morning for all the cowboys and cowgirls! Each classroom had a different rodeo activity. The cow kids were able to roam freely from room to room to try their hands at each activity.

Let me say, I took over 100 photos for the Rodeo Yearbook Page. Of those, I got some GREAT shots of Dane. You get to see those here.

The milking station before the rush.

Dane and his horse, Bob.
They went on to race through the dessert pass
in one of the classrooms.

Cowboy Dane, Cowboy Denton, and Cowgirl Carrina
wait in line for face painting.

Dane gets his face painted
(for the first time ever in his life)
with an orange star.

Dane pans for gold.
Dane visits the chuck wagon for some "cactus juice"
after a hard morning of cow pokin'.

The stations I don't have pics of Dane at are the movie theater with a bull riding/rodeo video playing, country dancing, and the bean bag throw into a cowboy hat.
