Cow Appreciation Day

Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A. Go dressed as a cow and you get a free meal.

Clark saw an ad on Face Book so he talked his brothers into it. Yesterday we all sat around cutting out spots and taping them on the clothes. We made the ears but I think they look more like rabbit ears. Oh, well! What does city folk know about cows anyway??

Once we got there the boys all got embarrassed. I barely got these two photos, and had to listen to lots of grumbling while they waited for the shutter to click.

We walked inside to find all the employees dressed like cows and wearing cow bells around their necks. When they saw the boys dressed up they started ringing the cow bells and clapping. It was funny and loud. Dane showed his sign which said "Moo" on one side and "Give me chicken, please" on the other. That got a big laugh!

In the end, they were glad they dressed up. They enjoyed eating their free meals once they quickly ripped the spots off their clothes! The rabbit ears... um, I mean... cow ears stayed there in the trash cans!
