Day 2

Here is the last thing we saw in Arkansas this morning.......

Here is the first thing we saw when we crossed the state line in Memphis, Tennessee.......
Statues in the visitors center-
For the jazz/blues music lovers...............
For the ladies....................

Made it to Murfreesboro, TN about 4:15pm. Tom, Haley, and Karon are on their way here. More later............

We met up with Uncle Tom, Cousin Haley, and Grandma Karon for an evening visit. We started the evening at a nice restaurant called Davy Crockett's Roadhouse. They had fried pickles!! I was happy!

After a nice meal, we went to Kid's Castle Playground at a city park. Here are a few shots. This play scape reminds me of the wooden structure in Georgetown. It was a really nice playground!

After that, we came back to the hotel so the kids could swim and romp some more. By kids, I mean Ed, Tom and the under 14 people!!

Before the visit ended, we got a nice shot of Grandma Karon with 4 of her 5 grandkids..... and Snoopy! It was great to see them all. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more!
