Couple's Game Night Commentary

Saturday night was couple's night hosted by the Harkeys. Rebecca & Cecil cooked brisket and chicken out on their new "Green Egg." It was very delicious! Everyone else brought side dishes or dessert, which were also wonderful. (Couples from that night, please leave your recipes under this comment section. What a great place to share them!)

As hosts of Couple's Night, the Harkey's got to pick what we played. They introduced us all the a new and twisted version of the classic game of Pictionary. In this version, twisted things happen like... you have to draw with your opposite hand or draw with one continuous line or draw against an opposing team member.... crazy! It sure made for some interesting drawings!

As it ended up, the teams were men vs. women. I don't want to hurt any feelings, but the truth of the matter is that we
women whipped the men!! The women made it to the finish block first, went backwards from there, and made it to the start block again before the men made it to the finish block once! Hee! Hee!

Look at these two drawings. I won't say who drew these but his initials are Jerry Strother.

Anyone reading this, feel free to leave guesses as to what the two drawings might be!!

In the previous blog, my dear hubby added the pictures, from the fun night, in a slide show. Enjoy his handy work and his corny words (that he posted as my words)!

Thank you Rebecca and Cecil for a great night!!

Oh, after we got home, I went out to my car to get something I needed. I noticed something strange at the Harkey's house. I ran over with my camera and snapped photos for evidence, if needed. Not sure what to make of it.

Cecil, what happened? Was this pay back for verbally slamming a neighbor say, twice, one night? Shocking! Just shocking!

Almost Rudy's Cream Corn

Salt and pepper to taste

Put all the ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low for 3 hours or until the cream cheese and butter are melted.

I made 1 & 1/2 batches for Couple's Night.... just so you know.
